Montreal-based self-taught artist Roxy Peroxyde and her latest female portrait artwork Ashley on superposed skateboards. Peroxyde’s works featuring female portraits with a hint of pop, at times photorealistic, while other times just surreal, which in turn brings thought to recall the objectification of women via advertisement and the obsessiveness that surrounds that.
