Erik den Breejen‘s colorful acrylic canvases featuring song lyrics appropriated from rock anthems and indy hits. Through a computer assisted program, Erik combines chunks of lyrics, poems or scripts, and paints freehand text, manipulating background blocks of color to form pixilated portraits.
