Mixed Media Collage Series by Pia Habekost

Los Angeles-based artist Pia Habekost creates mixed media collage artworks on fashion editorials. Her unique process of sampling and remixing information, combines digital and analogue techniques to create complex layered swarms. Through painting, cutting and layering various media, Pia creates her own encrypted narratives that are both ambiguous in meaning and visually alluring. Her work ranges from small scale collages, large scale paintings to spatial installations.
