Blindness Neon Light Series by Javier Martin

Visual artist Javier Martin is mostly recognized by his work “Blindness“, where he blindfolds figures with neon to accentuate the lines, and to highlight the blindness of his models with the intention of making people look into themselves as opposed to the current hegemony of appearance. He uses fashion portraits often taken by him to compose his artwork, and the aesthetic beauty acquires a special value as a storyteller trying to set a point about how society judges without looking any further.
