Sculptural Metropolis build out of Circuit Boards

"A Temporary State To Fall Or Rise Again" is a large scale floor based installation created by London-based artist Robin Tarbet, showcasing a sculptural metropolis build out of circuit boards connected together like building blocks.

Connected with spacers used for the same job inside the computers where they originate the boards are built with a system - if they are an identical repeat they go up vertically to create high towers and if not they go across horizontally sprawling across the floor to start another. When the audience approaches the viewing angle shifts allowing us to look down and into the dense city from above, and also walk through.

This impressive work is on display ar the exhibition called ‘Cities Of Ash‘ curated by Sam Perry. Runs until 13th Sept at G39.
