Extraordinary Artist: Storm Thorgerson

Storm Thorgerson was (sadly we lost him 18 April 2013 - aged 69) an English graphic designer, best known with his album cover works for rock artists such as Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Scorpions, Peter Gabriel and many others.

Many of his designs are notable for their surrealism, and as a viewer they make you look a bit longer too see all the small details and the idea behind it. Known as Hipgnosis that consisted Storm Thorgerson and Aubrey Powell, and later Peter Christopherson. The group dissolved in 1983, though Thorgerson worked on album designs until his death.
