Nutcracker: Interactive Sculpture by Jennifer Rubell

New York based artist Jennifer Rubell creates participatory artwork that is a hybrid of performance art, installation, sculpture, and happenings. Nutcracker sculpture is a life-sized, large-breasted female mannequin who has been altered to function as a nutcracker, with a pedestal of walnuts placed next to her for viewers to crack and consume.
