In Zundert, in the South of the Netherlands, They are crazy about the Corso Zundert flower parade. It takes place every year on the first Sunday of September where 20 teams from different hamlets compete for the best designed parade float. This year, two teams could not compete due to heavy wind weather conditions. So 2016 flower parade had 18 teams in total. Below we have prepared a list of all the participated teams, and the points they got from this competition.
What’s Corso Zundert Flower Parade?
Corso Zundert is an exciting Flower Parade in the Netherlands, since 1936 – created as a celebration of Queen Wilhelimina’s birthday at that time. The first parades were modest as far as size is concerned and mostly consisted of decorated bicycles and a single farmer’s cart.
Corso Zundert flower parade has always had a quite strong artistic aspect.
