Herb Williams – an artist from Nashville, creates original sculptures out of a crayon (or wax pastel). He uses hundreds of thousands of individual crayons in the creation of technicolor animal and object sculptures. The playful aspect of his medium is integral to the works of art he is creating.
As you know, the term crayon is commonly associated with the standard wax crayon, such as those widely available for use by children. To most adults, the sight and smell of crayons produce specific memories of childhood. After lot’s of try outs, the artist decided to use the brand Crayola for number of reasons.
